This Privacy Policy explains how Rachna Softech LLP (“Rachna Softech”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit this website, contact us or use our products. It is published in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
1. Who we are
Rachna Softech LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in India. We build and operate apps and software products. For personal data collected through this website and our apps, we are the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and enquiry details: your name, email address, phone number, company name and anything you choose to include in a message, for example through our contact form or by email.
- Account details: if you sign up for one of our apps, your name, email address or phone number, and your account settings.
- Billing details: for paid plans, your billing details and payment records. Payments are handled by our payment partners or by the app store you buy through; we do not store full card details.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: when you visit this website or use our products, we and our hosting providers may log your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. We use this for security, troubleshooting and to keep our services reliable.
3. How we use your information
We process personal data only for clear and lawful purposes, based on your consent or on legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act:
- to respond to your enquiries, business requests and partnership proposals;
- to create and manage your product accounts, and to provide, secure and support our products;
- to process payments and send invoices, service updates and important notices;
- to improve our products using aggregated or de-identified usage information;
- to prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents; and
- to comply with applicable laws, including tax and accounting obligations.
We send marketing emails only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
4. Data you store in our apps
The content you add to our apps, such as tasks, notes, expenses or health entries, belongs to you. We process it only to provide, sync, secure and support the app for you, and we never sell it or use it for advertising. Health and financial information you choose to record is treated as sensitive: it is used only for the features you ask for. If you add information about other people, for example in a shared family list, please make sure they are comfortable with it.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We share personal data only when necessary, and only with:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as cloud hosting, email delivery and payment processing, who are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations;
- Professional advisers such as auditors and legal counsel, where required; and
- Government or law enforcement authorities, when we are required to do so by law.
Some service providers may process data outside India. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to keep your data protected and comply with any restrictions on cross-border transfers notified by the Government of India.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted after it is closed, except where we must keep records under applicable tax, accounting and LLP laws. Enquiries and messages are deleted once they are no longer needed.
7. How we protect your data
We use reasonable security safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access controls, regular backups and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your data. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- Correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
- Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it (this does not affect processing already carried out);
- Grievance redressal for any concern about how we handle your data; and
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

10. Children
Our apps are intended for people aged 18 and over. Under the DPDP Act, we need verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before processing a child’s personal data. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us without that consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
